Dr Kyle Lifson has 20 years experience as a Rural Dispensing GP in West Stirling and has established a Private GP Dispensing Practice in Stirling specialising in traditional personalised General Practice and Expedition/Travel Medicine. His hospital background is in General Medicine and Cardiology and his research and publications pertained to the acute management of coronary artery disease. Dr Lifson has extensive experience in Accident and Emergency medicine and he has been involved in Expedition medicine for 25 years.

He was previously Medical Officer for Lomond Mountain Rescue Team and has been a BASICS (British Association of Immediate Care Scotland) volunteer doctor in Forth Valley for 19 years. He is a Senior Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Glasgow University School of Medicine and has been involved in medical education for 25 years. He currently works as a Freelance Emergency Hospital Practitioner in Cowal Community Hospital in Casualty, Acute Admission/Hospice wards and urgent Primary Care.

He is passionate about providing excellent, compassionate, evidence-based and patient led clinical care. Dr Lifson is originally from California, USA and now lives in rural West Stirling with his wife and four daughters.
